Description​

The DeskPi RackMate 7.84-inch LCD Mount (DP-0059) is a 10-inch 2U rack-mount display panel for the RackMate series. It combines an ultrawide 1280 × 400 TFT LCD with capacitive multi-touch, an onboard OSD menu, and HDMI input, making it ideal as a homelab dashboard, cluster console, or maintenance display.

Installation​

  1. Align the panel with the 2U rack mounting holes on your RackMate cabinet.
  2. Secure it with four #10-32 5/16 screws and washers.
  3. Connect an HDMI cable from the host device to the display's HDMI port.
  4. Plug the USB-C cable into the DC 5V / Touch port; route the other end to a 5V USB source or the host.
  5. Power on — the panel lights up automatically; the touch screen enumerates as a standard HID device.

Display Resolution Note​

macOS Limitation

macOS does not output 1280 × 400 natively and falls back to 1280 × 720, which can cause horizontal stretching. For best results, use a third-party display utility (e.g., SwitchResX or RDM) to set a custom 1280 × 400 resolution, or adjust overscan / scaling in System Settings → Displays.
